The Royal Government of Bhutan sets a minimum daily expenditure for travellers. This is to ensure that people spend enough in each industry and to fund the sustainable fund. The prices are different for high season and off season:
  • High season: March, April, May, September, October, November – USD 250/night/pax
  • Low season: June, July, August, December, January, February – USD200/night/pax

Additional Surcharges

  • Two people: USD30/night/pax
  • Solo traveler: USD40/night/pax

Bhutan Visa Fee Price

  • Visa fee: USD40/pax
    • Exceptions: India/Bangladesh/Maldives passport holders
